Every item in our shop is made to order, by hand, in a one-person shop. Nothing is pulled from stock. Here's what to expect right now.
Christmas 2026 order deadlines
- Standard production: order by Saturday, November 21
- Rush Production (+$19.99): order by Saturday, December 5
- Free coasters: order any badge, shield or flag by Sunday, November 15 and I'll include two free engraved slate coasters with your agency's emblem
Christmas build slots are limited. Bird Dog Woodworks is one person, and this year my family is welcoming a new addition right in the middle of the Christmas rush. I'm limiting holiday orders so every piece still gets the time and quality it deserves. When the Christmas slots are full, I'll post it here and in the banner at the top of the site.
Standard processing: 2–4 weeks
This is our baseline production time on made-to-order pieces: badges, flags, shields and custom engraving. It starts the day your order is placed, before shipping.
Need it sooner? Rush Production: 1–2 weeks (+$19.99)
Most items offer Rush Production right on the product page for an additional $19.99, cutting production roughly in half. If you don't see it on an item, message us before ordering and we'll tell you what's possible for your deadline.

- Standard shipping: $6.99, free on orders of $125 or more
- USPS Priority Mail: $9.99
- Bulk business coaster orders ship at cost by weight
- Free local pickup in Ontario, NY
Production time is separate from transit time, so budget a few extra days for delivery once your order ships.
Ordering for a specific date?
Retirement ceremonies, graduations and promotions don't move. If you're working against a firm date, message us through our Contact Us page before ordering so we can confirm timing.
